How do I delete a page in WordPress

To delete a page in WordPress, including those created using Elementor, follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to the WordPress Admin Dashboard Open your web browser and enter the URL of your WordPress website followed by "/wp-admin" (e.g., "www.example.com/wp-admin"). Enter your administrator username and password to log in. After successful login, you will be redirected to the WordPress admin dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to the Pages Section In the admin dashboard, locate the sidebar menu on the left-hand side. Find and hover over the "Pages" option. This will expand a submenu with options like "All Pages," "Add New," "Categories," and more. Click on "All Pages" to view a list of all the pages on your website.

Step 3: Select the Page to Delete On the "All Pages" screen, locate the page you want to delete and hover over its title. Several options will appear below the page title.

Step 4: Click on "Trash" From the options that appear below the page title, click on "Trash." This will move the page to the trash, and it will no longer be visible on your website.

Step 5: Permanently Delete the Page (Optional) By default, WordPress moves the page to the "Trash," where it can be restored if needed. However, if you want to permanently delete the page, you can do so by accessing the "Trash" section. Click on "Trash" in the top notification bar or go to the "Trash" section in the "Pages" menu. Once in the "Trash," you can select the page and click on the "Delete Permanently" button to remove it permanently from your website.

Note: If you accidentally delete a page, you can still recover it from the "Trash" within a limited time period. To restore a page, go to the "Trash" section, select the page, and click on the "Restore" button.

Congratulations! You have successfully deleted a page in WordPress. The page will no longer be visible on your website. Please exercise caution when deleting pages, as once they are permanently deleted, they cannot be easily recovered.
